Several years ago I was approached by Dan and Penny Lessa, a couple from the US who were looking to open a new shop selling cupcakes. Dan had pretty specific ideas about the sort of character he wanted to ‘front’ the marketing campaign, so all I had to do was bring it together for him. Hence, Cupcake Charlie was born.
So the store opened. Then another one. And another. And another! The brand has gone from strength to strength, so to celebrate the opening of the latest store I thought I’d get a little bit of 3D modelling practice done and add another ‘Charlie’ to my folio.
